The market this August is showing slightly more positive signs compared to the first half of the year – sales activity is picking up, especially in the detached and townhouse segments. However, prices are still trending downward, which shows that both sellers and buyers are gradually adjusting expectations to meet at a more reasonable level.
To be honest, the market hasn’t fully “heated up” yet, but with high inventory and more affordable prices, buyers now have plenty of options. Sellers, on the other hand, need to stay patient, present their homes well, and price them realistically to attract serious buyers.
